Hi! I'm Roland from Ohio. I've been a big fan of Indian dishes ever since I have ever had a first taste of it. I got a lot of friends in the office that are Indian in nationality. That is the reason I got acquainted with the Indian culture and food. Once in a while they will take me with them to an Indian restaurant or invite me to their place on different occasions. Among my favorite Indian dishes are Tandoori Masala Chicken , Tikka Masala, Chaat, and Malai Kofta. I am definitely going to try your recipe of Khichdi and try to impress my friends. Thanks!

No Maroi ? Is this an authentic "meitei khichdi" ?
I don't recall the bamons using ginger/garlic/elaichi either during the "ushops".
